Join us as we work through the book of Acts of the Apostles, every Tuesday morning at 11:00 am. As we dive deep into the Word, we'll have discussions along the way over topics that stick out to us (and share quite a few laughs along the way)!

Ballard Community Breakfast

The Ballard Community Breakfast has been serving free breakfast to our community neighbors for over two decades! Anyone who walks through our doors during breakfast time is welcome to come in, relax, and enjoy a hot breakfast. This is an opportunity for anyone who needs or wants a meal to receive it, to build relationships with others in the community, and to experience loving and gracious hospitality. We serve breakfast all year round, except for the weekend of our Fall Bazaar.

The success of our breakfast week after week depends on our faithful volunteers! Like in our thrift shop, we welcome students looking for volunteer hours! If you would like to volunteer regularly or just for one week at our Ballard Community Breakfast, please contact one of the pastors.

United Women of Faith

UWF Mission Work

Every year, our chapter of United Women of Faith commit themselves to serving others. Our recent mission projects include raising money to fund a water well in Malawi in memory of missionary Margaret Barton and collecting over 7 boxes of toiletries for our surrounding nonprofits.

We also regularly raise money for the Asbury Park Mercy Center, Church Women United, UNICEF, and the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission in Asbury Park. We give from the money raised at our annual UMW Fall Bazaar.

Our next mission project is to prepare fruit baskets to deliver to our homebound neighbors for the holidays. Please contact our pastor if you would like to be a part of this effort!

UWF Meetings

Our chapter of United Women of Faith meet at noon the second Tuesday of every month at Ballard UMC for lunch, community, conversations on faith, and planning for mission work.

All are invited to join this great group of women! You are encouraged to bring a lunch to these gatherings, and drinks and dessert will be provided. If you would like to know more about Ballard UMC's United Women of Faith or have a question about their meeting time, please contact our pastor.
