Come grow in faith and community through Bible Study at Ballard United Methodist Church! Our gatherings are open to all—whether you're brand new to the Bible or have been studying it for years. Together, we explore Scripture in a way that is thoughtful, relevant, and rooted in grace.

We read and discuss passages in an open, welcoming environment where questions are encouraged and everyone’s voice matters. Sessions often include historical and cultural context, personal reflection, and practical applications for daily life. Our goal is not just to gain knowledge, but to deepen our relationship with God and one another.

UWF Mission Work

Every year, our chapter of United Women of Faith commit themselves to serving others. Our recent mission projects include raising money to fund a water well in Malawi in memory of missionary Margaret Barton and collecting over 7 boxes of toiletries for our surrounding nonprofits. 

We also regularly raise money for the Asbury Park Mercy Center, Church Women United, UNICEF, and the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission in Asbury Park. We give from the money raised at our annual UWF Fall Bazaar.
