Pastor David Kim

Pastor David Kim's most precious treasure is God's vision to bring all people into perfect communion with Himself.

David brings his exuberant worship and love for God into his preaching, pastoral care, prayer, and ministry.

David is following God's plan to lead the church into becoming the leaven that raises the whole loaf, and prays for Ballard United Methodist church to become a church on a hill and the light of Christ for all living in Asbury Park.

David is a seminarian at Princeton Theological Seminary, studying for his Master's in Divinity. Ballard UMC and West Farms UMC are his first Church appointments. 

David was born, raised, and studied in the Greater Cleveland area till 2022. He enjoys theatre, board games, and getting meals with friends.

David longs to witness people love and worship God as they come into communion with the Living God. 

Pastor David was appointed to Ballard UMC and West Farms UMC in July of 2023 as a Mosiac's pastor.
